From studying with my truly inspirational teachers Sharon Gannon & David Life Co-founders JIVAMUKTI YOGA  in New York. Inspired and empowered by other teachers such as Shiva Rea ( Prana Flow & Yoga Trance Dance) , Seane Corne, Hala Khouri and Suzanne Sterling from  OFF THE MAT INTO THE WORLD GLOBAL PROJECT which uses the power of yoga to inspire conscious, sustainable activism and ignite social change . I truly believe that we are all awakening to a higher level of consciousness. The medium of MUSIC , inspired by the sounds of some amazing DJ's such as MC YOGI , DJ Drez , DJ John Osborne Hughes , Pathaan & Masood Ali Khan and many other spiritual DJ's & musicians who are bringing live music into yoga allowing us to re-connect through sounds (nada yoga). As we begin to allow our natural expression to shine through our creativity flows leading us to a more awakened state of happiness, compassion and Joy.
 
The Jivamukti method was created by Sharon Gannon and David Life in the 1980's in New York City and is one of the nine recognised methods of Hatha Yoga. It is one of the most popular styles of yoga in the US today with twelve centres worldwide. It integrates the physical, psychological and spiritual aspects of yoga practices into a modern lifestyle whilst still remaining true to the original teachings and disciplines from the Ashtanga tradition.The name Jivamukti comes from the sanskrit word Jivanmukta meaning "living liberated". Within this vigorous vinyasa practice there are five main elements which are included and woven with a theme into every class : ahimsa( nonviolence & compassion to all beings) scripture referring to ancient yogic texts ), bhakti ( devotion to god/divine ) , nada yoga ( deep listening ) and meditation along with sanskrit chanting,verbal instruction, hands-on alignment and relaxation.
